this week on ICTPE

Our first baby...

The second one...an I love it!

Assalamualaikum..and hi everyone!

Its me again, back in the cyber world…I’ve been pretty well, got my allowance to keep on surviving and been busy stuffing my nose behind assessment book..
During the ICTPE class,I was dizzy and most of the time, try to adapt with myself with the uncomfortable situation as the air-cond does not work properly. But forget that. Last Wednesday we have a guest. She told us about how to create a simple poster using PowerPoint templates. The project was actually designed for the primary kids but we got to try it first.

For the project, I should thank all my Eureka’s team mate as we all work together to make the poster project successful. In my opinion we did a wonderful piece despite of the time constraint and limited source. I do believe that most of us, if were given more time and more freedom (in choosing pictures, templates) we will be able to produce more than what we can last Wednesday.

Did you face any problem during the session? Why?
yes, due to the limited source and limited time and limited space. If we are given all of these, I bet all groups might come with a better one. However it was fun. I think if we were given more source, we'll need more time.. hm..
What do you think of the instruction?
the instruction given was very clear and we don't really have problem understanding the project..
What improvements can you suggest?
maybe by providing more pictures and let us to determine the poster's template..maybe the options should be like in publisher, paint or others, rather than depending solely on powerpoints..
How would you carry out this design session with primary level students?
Maybe not in the class, but as a homework or a group project. the teacher (or is it me?) can give out the instructions, show the pupils on how to- and let them use their creativity to produce it. it will be a lot more easier if each students can come up with one..the more the merrier..
