The Technology that I cannot live without..

mind you, this one is rather personal ;) but it's a deep reflection meant for fun reading..
What would it be without technology?
Ask yourself, whether you realize it or not, you’re in debt with technology. For today in technology, (ehem) let me take you to a journey of my so-called technology collections. Just for fun, but later who knows you might want to do the same reflection as I do.

>My handphone.
Yes, everyone owns at least one hand phone.
I cannot imagine, being separated from my Sony E K700i. The hand phone means so much to me. I have been the proud owner for years and I hope the hand phone will still be my baby for years to come. When I’m not on a line or busy typing sms, the hand phone is my mini ‘Nintendo’. Though it does nothing closer to Nintendo but still, it has games that never bore my finger or my brain. When I want some music to occupy my lonely heart, it serves as mp3 player as well as radio. I can keep myself happy listening to my favorite radio stations while waiting for my mum or while I’m on the bus. I can also surf the net with it, but the cost is too much. However, I can still surf the maxis GPRS site which is free and have fun knowing latest trivia and horoscopes. It is useful when you need a light, when you want to search things that fell in your car at night or when there’s blackout. Thanks to the camera’s light, it never fails me when I need it. The camera, though not even reach 1 mega pixel, still a luxury for most moments and thanks to Bluetooth, I can transfer the pictures easily to my laptop. It has video player too, which help me to preserve the growth of my cute and cuddly niece, Illya Zahra. Overall, K700i is the diamond among all gems in my heart.

>My camera.
I bought this camera for my birthday. (Hey, pity me; I have to buy my own gift!). I love it so much because it has been there for years. Luckily, I can capture millions precious moments with it. My trip to a lot of places in Malaysia, pictures of my beloved ones, my sister’s wedding ceremonies, and it serves as a wonderful hobby too.
I knew that there are a lot of cameras in stores now with a lot of enhancements that my Sony DSC did not possess, but hey, I don’t need those enhancements. I just need my Sony.

>My laptop
This is a gift from my parents. It was an accident that I ask my father for it since he always complained that I always use the computer when he needs it (tell you, there’s only one pc in my house with 3 avid users: me, my ayah and Nina) so every time he gets home and wanted to use the pc, either me or Nina was using the pc. So rather than a never ending family feud over a computer, he gave me the laptop. Honestly, I’m not a laptop person. I found that laptop does not give me the same satisfaction as using the desktop. But, I am totally blessed that I have one and I am so thankful to God and my parents for this gift. Since there’s so many works that requires me to type and surf internet, I am happy that I have this laptop to help me.
> Television
I'm a potato couch person. One of my undeniable talent is to stare at the stupid (hey!) box for hours and hours. From the melodrama OC to the unexpected EPL, I really need a TV to enjoy them. And did I mention to also watch DVD and VCD?
Oh, the list goes on and on. I might not have the best or the most expensive stuffs in my closet but whatever that I have, I appreciate and value with all of my heart. I did not come from a wealthy family that can offer me so many things but I am lucky enough to have what i have now. With all of these things, my life is easier and meaningful. I'm glad, Alhamdulillah.. :)

Jz.. I'm really envious of the way you treat your hand phone and camera.. The way you say "hoping it will become your baby for years".. I'm touched. I wish I can say the same thing for my handphone and camera. I feel so bad and guilty because I never treated them the way you treated yours. I think I should really learn from you.. cherish the things that we bought ey..
