Smart Board : The Beginning..

Oh, Zara’s lucky; she might have Smart Board in her school…
I don’t think that I get it right at the beginning. My head keep on asking questions that I never think of before. I doubt myself and my entire ability and creativity, oh God, am I going to survive?

When I got the chance to read the assignment, it doesn’t sounds that I am able to do it. Hey Smart Board is something very VERY new to me. I’m afraid that I would criticize myself in the end and say, I know, I can do better than that with OHP or PowerPoint!
To create a lesson using Smart Board doesn’t sound as if you are going to die, but as said earlier, this technology is way too advance for me. I grow up learning through blackboard and chalk; it was in high school I got the chance to use OHP and PowerPoint because my school was selected to become the 1st 88 smart school in Malaysia. And when I got moved to SMKPP, it was again blackboard and chalk. Learning how to use the Smart Board makes me think of how lucky the future generations are.

In the other side of me, I think Smart Board is motivating me to become a teacher. Everyone said that this teaching job is not fun, tiring complicated and the list of negativity goes on. But hey discriminator, look, my job gives me chance to discover a lot of things (and yeah who says AutoCAD was all fun huh?). I bet most of my friend didn’t know that things like Smart Board existed.

I know, there are a lot of things to learn but I will not give up easily. I hope that I will make use of this opportunity so that next time, I won’t sweat when given a chance to make use of the Smart Board. Hey, let’s not give up now, let’s try!
