Suddenly,
Prof Raja Maznah announced that all of us should own a blog. Yippee! I felt like jumping to the ceiling. I am going to have a blog with a purpose at last! Before this, I owned a blog but it did not survive due to my indiscipline nature of sending posts.
What blog means to me..
Blog is a mean of sharing thoughts, and ideas. You can write anything you like under the sun, feel free to express yourself, and you can gain feedbacks from other people too. It works best for people like me who is shy, timid and think that it is better to shut up than say something stupid. If you are born with talents to write story and poems, you can publish your ideas in the blog too. Blog serves as a medium to record events that is happening in my life too (mind you, my brain capacities is running out of space).
In other words, to blog is to share. We all love to be kind and sharing is kind right?
Blogging and teaching..
I remember a friend telling me that children (especially primary school pupils) will look up to teachers who know more than they do. So the next time you met a hooligan who show off his skills with Nintendo, ask them if they have a blog. I’m sure that they will be impressed. To have a blog is next to have a website. Remember, we are in the ICT era where everything goes digital. I am sure that the next 5 years, our primary schools will change tremendously. Next few years, we may want to asses our pupils with their IT knowledge and maybe all of us should each have a website, who knows. Even when Windows comes up with XP we never know that they are going to invent Vista a few years later! My point here is, technology evolves so we need to evolve too. Start with this little blog thing and later, we might not have much trouble for other complicated web things.
My expectations on PKEY 3101 class
Oh, I really hope we learn more about the net. It will be fun, enjoyable and beneficial. I also hope to maximize my knowledge on ICT and hope to become an IT savvy too…
